How to Avoid Partisan Gridlock and Global Warming Alarm

Hecatomb of resignations among Democrat elected representatives. Latest is respected Evan Bayh of Indiana. He is quitting next November. He blames partisan gridlock.

Dear Senator, here is how to avoid gridlock: First, keep in mind that there is no gridlock in the House at all but a wide Democrat majority. In the Senate, your projects need to become filibuster-proof. Here is how to do it: 1 Compromise enough to get one single Republican Senator to come to decline to filibuster; 2 Give away enough of what the clearly expressed majority of the US electorate wants so he or she will not fear retaliation come election time. Bingo!

It’s called American democracy. It used to be the method of government in our country.

Algore in Wonderland is back blogging. I still don’t know where he is, physically. He might still be with the other jihadist, Bin Laden. I feared that because, two weeks ago, Osama suddenly started channeling Al on air. He. Al, is telling us global warming is even worse than “we”expected. I wonder who will take the initiative to institutionalize Al. For the sake of the national dignity, I hope it will be his relatives.
