This is a reality check. Ask yourself why you would even open a posting with such a stupid headline.

I was wondering if you were going to do your satires again. đŸ˜€

Excellent satire, looks like an Onion headline.
It is an excellent example of how seeing anything in print can influence our thought, expecially if it’s repeated frequently frequently enough. More specifically, this headline demonstrates how many Americans, including myself have been conditioned to view Sarah Palin as a crazy right-wing back woods gun nut. Also, if I defend her with the fact that she could not have been involved with the shootings in Arizona, I would be falling into the trap of lending credibility to the statement. It’s exactly what the media has done to smear her since she came on the national scene. Sad fact is that these days 40% of Americans reading that headline would believe it to some degree, especially if it was in the New York Times.

    Interesting.

I have never before seen two responses ahead of mine.

    Do you really wonder Jacques?

I was hoping to see a facetious line of reasoning that would
    have supported such a comment.

Now. Prove to us that you even cared why.

Gary, sounds like you gotta stay more glued to JD’s blog! We’re getting ahead of you!

    • jacquesdelacroix says:

Gary: Either you have become predictable or I read your mind. Either explanation should disturb you.
I wish you would provide a facetious explanation. Me, I am just an old pervert trying to entrap people in their own lack of criticality.
