Taking a Short French Break

My presence on this blog is light these days because I am working on an essay in French. It’s going to be called something like ” How to Admonish a Left-Liberal Intellectual.”

You may want to visit the allied blog NotesOnLiberty which publishes rather more of my own writing than I do in addition to  a variety of other, more interesting libertarian authors. NotesOnLiberty is a good place to start discovering libertarianism.

Libertarianism is  a stream of thought built around the idea that every act of government is morally suspect because government is inseparable from the use of force against individuals. And, please, don’t think this is an extreme view. Just imagine what would happen to you if you simply declined to pay two ordinary parking tickets. (We are not considering in this mental exercise whether you earned the tickets or not. Assume you did.)
