Things That Make You Laugh (2)

A ship packed with climate scientists, (or with a mixture of climate scientists and changist activists because that’s usually the case) is stuck in Antarctica by unexpectedly thick and extensive ice.

I heard it on Rush Limbaugh so, it must not be true.

If it were true, though it would say nothing or little about the reality of global warming. I only mention it as evidence of Divine Justice, also as proof that God sometimes has a sense of humor.

I hope they survive. The last thing we need is a bunch of martyrs.

About Jacques Delacroix

I write short stories, current events comments, and sociopolitical essays, mostly in English, some in French. There are other people with the same first name and same last name on the Internet. I am the one who put up on Amazon in 2014: "I Used to Be French: an Immature Autobiography" and also: "Les pumas de grande-banlieue." To my knowledge, I am the only Jacques Delacroix with American and English scholarly publications. In a previous life, I was a teacher and a scholar in Organizational Theory and in the Sociology of Economic Development. (Go ahead, Google me!) I live in the People’s Green Socialist Republic of Santa Cruz, California.

  1. Bruce says:

What is telling about the story is that the main stream media reported it without any reference to climate change. We’re their campaign about global cooling, they would have jumped on the opportunity.
The reason had to be explained away somehow since even the progressives were wondering the obvious. Then boom! The answer came ringing down from environmentalist heaven. The cause was that global warming had melted lots of FRESH water, which freezes at a lower temperature than salt water. There is an explanation for everything, and the agenda must defended at all costs.

  2. Sure thing. When they are right, they are right. When they are wrong, they are also right.

  3. Tige d'airain says:

The best proof that God has a great sense of humor is that he has permitted Francois Hollande to become President of France.

  4. It was not God. It was an ambitious Manhattan District Attorney.
